Chill berries soon after picking to increase shelf life. If refrigerated, fresh-picked blueberries will keep 10 to 14 days.

Times to pick...

Unfortunately, we are done for the year. Between the late freeze and now drought, the crop is not worth being open. If you made it out early in the season, thank you very much! Cross fingers for next year.

Some "berry patch" tips

  • Children are welcome but they must be here to pick and under direct adult supervision at ALL times; please ask them to treat our animals, home, and other customers with respect.
  • If you are bringing kids, we recommend picking early in the morning before it gets too warm.
  • Porta-potty available
  • Bring a cooler if you're going to be doing anything other than heading home. We want your blueberries to have the longest possible shelf-life.
  • Blueberries are simple to freeze - just be sure they are dry, and plop them into a freezer baggie or container. That's it. Since we don't use any sprays whatsover, there's really no need to wash them. But if you do, be sure to let them dry. Damp berries spoil faster than dry ones.
  • No dogs, no kidding - we have free-range chickens.
